MGKVP Admit Cards Issued for 2026 BA and BSC First Semester Examinations
Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth (MGKVP) has officially released admit cards for students enrolled in the BA and BSC first semester examinations for the academic session 2025–26. The university administration confirmed that the admit cards are now available for download, with examinations scheduled to commence on March 11, 2026. This proactive measure was taken to ensure students in Varanasi and Chandauli districts are well-prepared as the exam date approaches.
Technical Glitches in Fee Submission Through Samarth Portal
Despite the timely release of admit cards, several affiliated colleges in Varanasi and Chandauli districts have encountered technical difficulties while attempting to deposit first semester examination fees via the Samarth portal. University authorities acknowledged these issues, stating that coordination is underway with the Samarth portal administration to resolve the problems promptly.
The facility for fee submission is expected to be restored soon, allowing concerned colleges to complete the payment process. However, MGKVP decided to proceed with issuing admit cards regardless of these challenges, prioritizing student convenience and examination readiness.
Examination Centre Changes for Two Colleges in Chandauli District
In a related development, MGKVP has issued an office order announcing immediate changes to examination centres for two affiliated colleges in Chandauli district. These adjustments apply specifically to the BA and BSC first semester examinations for the 2025–26 academic session.
- Students of Shri Sadguru Bholanand Women's College, Kamalpur, Chandauli (College Code: 250) will now take exams at their own college, instead of the previously assigned Shaheed Captain Vijay Pratap Singh College, Awajapur, Sakaldiha, Chandauli (College Code: 226).
- Similarly, Rajendra Prasad Tripathi College, Kamalpur, Chandauli (Boys Only) (College Code: 230) has been relocated from Ganji Prasad College, Dihwa, Mughalsarai, Chandauli (College Code: 232) to Lal Bahadur Shastri P.G. College, Pt. D. 50 Upa Nagar, Chandauli (College Code: 205).
Nodal Centres Designated for Examination Supervision
To ensure smooth conduct of examinations, MGKVP has designated specific nodal centres responsible for overseeing arrangements. Shaheed Hira Singh Government College, Dhanapur, Chandauli (College Code: 203) will serve as the nodal centre for Shri Sadguru Bholanand Women's College, while Lal Bahadur Shastri P.G. College, Pt. D. 50 Upa Nagar, Chandauli (College Code: 205) will oversee operations for Rajendra Prasad Tripathi College.
The office order detailing these changes was issued by Controller of Examinations Deepti Mishra, emphasizing the university's commitment to maintaining organized and efficient examination processes despite ongoing technical hurdles.
