IIIT-Nagpur Student Killed in Tragic Car Accident; Four Others Seriously Injured
A devastating car crash on the Nagpur-Chhindwada road has resulted in the death of a young engineering student and left four others with serious injuries. The incident occurred on Sunday as the group was returning from a weekend trip to Pachmarhi.

The vehicle, carrying five students from IIIT-Nagpur, overturned near a sharp curve. Preliminary investigations by the police suggest that the driver was speeding and attempted an overtaking maneuver. To avoid oncoming traffic, the driver braked abruptly, causing the car to skid, flip over, and fall into a roadside ditch.
Nayan Mandal, a 22-year-old final year engineering student, lost his life in the accident. The other four students sustained serious injuries and were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital in Pipariya for emergency treatment. Medical officials have reported that their condition is now stable.
