IBPS Unveils Tentative Exam Calendar for 2026-27 Banking Recruitment

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has released its tentative online examination calendar for the 2026-27 recruitment cycle. This announcement provides crucial information for candidates aiming to join Public Sector Banks and Regional Rural Banks across India.

Public Sector Banks Recruitment Schedule

IBPS has outlined specific dates for various positions within Public Sector Banks. The calendar covers multiple important examinations that will take place throughout the year.

Probationary Officers and Management Trainees will face their preliminary examinations on August 22 and 23, 2026. These candidates will then proceed to their main examination scheduled for October 4, 2026.

Specialist Officers have their preliminary exam set for August 29, 2026. Their main examination will follow on November 1, 2026.

Customer Service Associates will take their preliminary examination across two days: October 10 and 11, 2026. The main examination for CSA positions is planned for December 27, 2026.

Regional Rural Banks Examination Dates

The recruitment process for Regional Rural Banks follows a different schedule under CRP RRBs-XV. This cycle includes positions for both Officers and Office Assistants.

Officer Scale I candidates will appear for their preliminary examination on November 21 and 22, 2026. Their main examination will occur on December 20, 2026.

Officer Scale II and III applicants have a simpler process. They will not face preliminary examinations. Instead, they will directly take a single examination on December 20, 2026.

Office Assistants will undergo preliminary examinations spread across three days: December 6, 12, and 13, 2026. Their main examination is scheduled for January 30, 2027.
