According to sources, the English language paper featured between five to seven multiple-choice questions (MCQs) directly related to the Bhagavad Gita. Numerous students expressed their astonishment and raised concerns, alleging that these questions were drawn from a topic not officially included in their prescribed curriculum. Official Clarification on Syllabus Integration
An official from the education board clarified the situation, stating, "Chapters 1 and 2 on the Bhagavad Gita were included in the Class 12 English language textbook for the 2025-26 academic year." The board had previously integrated value-based chapters from the sacred text into first language textbooks for students in Classes 9 through 12.
