The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially declared the results for the July 2025 semester examinations conducted under the government's flagship SWAYAM online education programme. Candidates who appeared for the Computer Based Test (CBT) can now access their individual scorecards on the dedicated portal.

SWAYAM July 2025 Exam: Key Participation Figures

The scale of the SWAYAM initiative is reflected in the latest examination numbers. According to the official data released by the NTA, a total of 1,42,204 candidates registered for the July 2025 semester exams. Out of these, 1,17,943 candidates ultimately appeared for the tests, indicating a strong engagement with the platform.

The examinations were conducted over six days, from December 11 to 16, 2025, across a vast network of 210 centres in 123 cities throughout India. The tests were organized in 12 separate sessions.

Breakdown of Exam Modes and Candidate Turnout

The NTA conducted exams for a total of 647 papers. The majority of these, 578 papers, were held completely in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. For these CBT-only papers, 1,35,907 candidates had registered, and 1,12,769 took the exam.

A further 69 papers were conducted in a Hybrid mode, which combined CBT with traditional pen-and-paper components. For this hybrid format, 6,297 candidates registered and 5,174 appeared for the assessment.

The question papers for all courses, except those specifically for language learning, were set in English.

How to Download Your SWAYAM July 2025 Scorecard

The NTA has activated the result portal for the 578 courses conducted in pure CBT mode. Follow these simple steps to check and download your scorecard:

  1. Visit the official NTA SWAYAM results website at: exams.nta.nic.in/swayam.
  2. On the homepage, locate and click on the active link for 'July 2025 Semester Exam Results'.
  3. You will be redirected to a login page. Enter your credentials, which include your Application Number and your Date of Birth.
  4. Your SWAYAM scorecard will be displayed on the screen. Carefully review all the details.
  5. Download the soft copy and take a printout for your personal records and future reference.

Important Notes for Candidates

The NTA has clarified that the scorecards for the remaining 69 courses conducted in Hybrid mode are still being processed. Results for these will be announced separately via a subsequent public notice. Candidates awaiting hybrid mode results should monitor the official portal for updates.

It is also crucial for students to understand the division of responsibilities. The NTA's role is confined to conducting the examination, processing the scores, and declaring the results. The final certification and the issuance of official mark sheets will be handled by the respective national coordinators of each SWAYAM course.
