Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect Program Fosters Youth Participation in National Development

As discussions surrounding technology, entrepreneurship, and social transformation gain momentum across India, educational institutions are increasingly becoming vital platforms for youth to engage with the country's development objectives. In this context, the Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect programme, a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, aims to link young citizens with the broader vision of a developed India.

Interactive Sessions at Educational Institutions

On Tuesday, the Don Bosco Institute of Technology hosted the programme, bringing together students and educators for a dialogue on the nation's future. The event featured interactive sessions where students reflected on their roles in nation-building and the Viksit Bharat @2047 vision. Delhi's Education Minister, Ashish Sood, urged young people to actively participate in shaping India's destiny.

"A nation is built not only by the government but by the resolve, efforts, and responsibility of its youth," Sood emphasized. "Amrit Kaal @2047 is the time when the Amrit Peedhi will transform the dreams of independence into the reality of development."

MY Bharat Digital Platform Coordination

The initiative is coordinated through the MY Bharat digital platform, which organizes workshops, seminars, and debates in schools and colleges to cultivate leadership, civic awareness, and active involvement in the Viksit Bharat @2047 vision. Students and young citizens are encouraged to register on the MY Bharat portal and engage in youth-led initiatives nationwide.

Sood further highlighted the programme's significance, stating, "This is not merely a formal event but a centre of energy that will shape the future of the nation and give rise to a new wave of transformation. Students are not just learners in an institute but the architects and builders of a developed India who will play a crucial role in realising the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047."

Expanding Reach to Empower Youth

Simultaneously, the programme was conducted at Netaji Subhas University of Technology on Tuesday, with the goal of empowering and connecting India's youth. It encourages them to actively contribute to building a progressive and developed India by 2047. The initiative underscores the importance of youth engagement in achieving long-term national goals.
