Delivering the keynote address, Prof. Rajeev Srivastava, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, spoke on the theme 'Artificial, Human and Spiritual Intelligence in the Present Digital Age'. He acknowledged that artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming modern life across various sectors, but issued a compelling warning.
Prof. Srivastava stressed that technological progress must proceed hand-in-hand with human sensitivity, unwavering ethical conduct, and deeper spiritual awareness. Climate Change and the 2024 National Science Day Theme
Chief guest Prof. Sanjay Samant Rai, founder of the Indian Climate Congress, addressed the gathering by highlighting the official National Science Day theme for 2024: 'Women in Science – Catalysing Viksit Bharat'. His remarks brought a sharp focus to the urgent global and national challenges of climate change and environmental conservation.
Prof. Rai emphasized that these pressing environmental issues demand innovative scientific solutions and the active, enthusiastic participation of young researchers and scientists.
