The West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has officially announced that the Class 12 results for the year 2026 will be declared on May 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM. An official press release was issued in this regard, providing detailed information about the result declaration process.
Exam Schedule and Result Announcement
The West Bengal Higher Secondary (HS) examination for 2026 was conducted from February 12 to February 27, 2026. According to the official notice, the council expressed immense pleasure in announcing the results at the beginning of the Bengali New Year. The press release stated, "At the very beginning of Bengali New Year, the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education gets immense pleasure to announce that the results of the Higher Secondary Examinations, 2026 will be published on 14th May, 2026 at 10.30 am through a Press Conference to be held at Vidyasagar Bhavan, Saltlake, Kolkata-700091."
The notice further added, "The examinees, appeared in the examination will be able to check their results from 11.00 am through different websites to be intimated shortly. All concerned are requested to follow the website of the Council for further information."
Previous Year Performance
In the previous academic year, the overall pass percentage for Class 12 exams was recorded at 90.79%. Notably, male students outperformed female students with an overall pass percentage of 93%, while the pass rate for female students stood at 88.88%.
