The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has officially announced the Class 10 and Class 12 board exam results for the year 2026, bringing an end to the anxious wait for more than 54 lakh students across the state. The results were declared at 4 pm from the Board's headquarters in Prayagraj through a press conference, where officials provided key figures and examination details.
Key Highlights of UP Board Results 2026
For Class 10, the overall pass percentage stands at 90.42%. Along with this, the Board also released the Class 12 (Intermediate) results, which show an overall pass percentage of 80.38%. These figures reflect the performance of a large number of students who appeared for the examinations conducted earlier this year.
Revaluation and Improvement Process
The Board is yet to share detailed information about the revaluation process. Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for scrutiny through their respective schools. Once a student applies, the answer sheets will be rechecked under the scrutiny process as per Board rules. Additionally, students who wish to improve their scores can apply for compartment or improvement examinations. These exams are likely to be held in July. The application process for these will be conducted online, and the schedule will be released soon by the Board.
Passing Marks Criteria
To pass the exam, students must score at least 33% marks. Those who do not meet this threshold will have an opportunity to appear in compartment exams. It is important to note that the marksheet available online is provisional. Students will need to collect their original marksheets from their respective schools at a later date.
