Telangana Board IPASE 2026 Results: 68.84% Pass in First Year

The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) on Thursday announced the results for the Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examination (IPASE) 2026. The overall pass percentage stood at 68.84% for first year and 49.29% for second year, combining both general and vocational streams.

A total of 3,98,459 students appeared for the supplementary examinations, which were conducted from May 13 to 21 at 889 centres across the state. Practical examinations were held separately from May 22 to 25 at 33 centres.

First Year Results

In the first year, 1,84,042 out of 2,67,331 candidates successfully passed the examinations, achieving a pass percentage of 68.84%. Girls outperformed boys significantly, with a pass rate of 76.10% compared to 62.57% for boys.

Second Year Results

For the second year, 64,639 out of 1,31,128 candidates cleared the exams, resulting in a pass percentage of 49.29%. Again, girls performed better than boys, recording a pass rate of 52.56% against 47.45% for boys.

Malpractice Cases

The board also reported nine cases of malpractice across both years. Authorities have taken necessary action against the involved students as per regulations.
