SSC Announces Phase-XIII/2025 Selection Posts Examination Results for 10+2 Level

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially declared the results for the Phase-XIII/2025 Selection Posts Examination at the 10+2 level, marking a significant milestone in the recruitment process that has been eagerly awaited by lakhs of candidates nationwide. This announcement brings both relief and anticipation to aspirants who have been following the examination proceedings closely.

Examination Details and Participation Statistics

The Computer Based Examination (CBE) was conducted across multiple sessions between 24 July and 2 August 2025, with an additional session held on 29 August 2025. This examination cycle witnessed massive participation from candidates seeking Higher Secondary level posts through the SSC framework.

From an overwhelming pool of over 7.08 lakh applications received for these positions, the commission has meticulously shortlisted 14,768 candidates who will now proceed to the crucial scrutiny stage of the recruitment process.

Comprehensive Result Processing Methodology

The SSC has followed a thorough and transparent procedure in finalizing these results. After the initial examination, the commission invited representations on the tentative answer keys, all of which were carefully examined by subject matter experts. Wherever discrepancies were identified, appropriate corrections were implemented before finalizing the answer keys.

These finalized answer keys were then utilized to evaluate candidate performance accurately. In accordance with Para 15.3 of the examination notice, marks were normalized to account for variations across different examination shifts, ensuring fairness in the evaluation process.

Qualification Criteria and Shortlisting Parameters

To qualify for shortlisting, candidates needed to secure minimum qualifying marks as specified by the commission:

  • Unreserved (UR) category: 30% (60 marks)
  • OBC/EWS categories: 25% (50 marks)
  • All other reserved categories: 20% (40 marks)

The final shortlist has been prepared based on merit and post-wise vacancy ratios, which range from 1:30 for up to five vacancies to 1:15 for larger vacancy pools.

Category-wise Distribution of Shortlisted Candidates

The commission has released detailed category-wise statistics for the shortlisted candidates at the 10+2 level:

  • EWS: 971 candidates

The total number of shortlisted candidates stands at 14,768, which includes those whose results have been temporarily withheld pending verification.

Critical Next Steps for Shortlisted Candidates

Candidates who have been shortlisted for the scrutiny stage must now prepare for document submission. They are required to upload self-attested documents pertaining to their educational qualifications, work experience, category certificates, age proof, and applicable relaxations.

The document upload window will be active from 11 February 2026 at 11:00 AM until 3 March 2026 at 11:00 PM. It is imperative to note that document submission will be accepted exclusively through the official SSC website (ssc.gov.in).

Important guidelines for document submission:

  1. Documents sent via postal mail, email, or any other alternative channels will not be considered valid.
  2. Candidates qualifying under multiple post categories must upload documents separately for each category.
  3. Failure to upload required documents before the specified deadline will result in automatic cancellation of candidature for that particular post category, with no exceptions granted.

Special Notices and Important Considerations

The commission has highlighted several crucial points that candidates must carefully note:

  • Post Code ER15825 (10+2 Level) contains vacancies exclusively reserved for female candidates.
  • Results of certain candidates have been temporarily withheld due to eligibility concerns or verification requirements, though these candidates are provisionally permitted to upload documents.
  • A separate list of debarred candidates has been published by the commission, whose results have not been processed in this cycle.
  • Individual marks will not be disclosed at this stage of the recruitment process.
  • All shortlisted candidates remain in provisional status until final verification is completed.

Future Stages of the Recruitment Process

Following the document scrutiny phase, candidates found eligible may be called for Skill Tests where applicable, followed by Document Verification (DV) conducted by respective Regional Offices or User Departments. Admit cards for DV will be issued on a region-wise basis to facilitate smooth coordination.

The commission emphasizes that candidates whose roll numbers appear on the shortlist should immediately begin preparing their documents, remain vigilant about deadlines, and regularly monitor updates on their regional SSC websites. While the journey continues, this result declaration represents significant progress in the selection process.
