SSC CHSL Tier-2 Exam City Slip Released for 2025 Candidates
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially announced the release of the exam city intimation slip for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2025, specifically for the Tier-II stage. This crucial update allows all registered candidates to access information about their designated examination city through the Commission's official online portal.
Examination Schedule and City Slip Availability
According to the detailed schedule published by SSC, the Tier-II examination for the CHSL 2025 recruitment cycle is firmly scheduled to be conducted on April 10, 2026. The release of the city slip at this juncture provides candidates with ample time to make necessary travel and accommodation arrangements well in advance of the examination date.
The Commission has activated the exam city information module starting from April 1, 2026. Candidates are required to visit the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in and log into their candidate portal using their registered credentials to view their specific exam city details.
Admit Card Timeline and Examination Instructions
The admission certificate, commonly referred to as the admit card, along with the specialized scribe entry pass for eligible candidates, will be officially issued on April 7, 2026. This critical document will contain comprehensive details including:
- The exact examination centre address and location
- Reporting time and examination timing
- Important instructions and guidelines for candidates
- Identification requirements and prohibited items
All candidates must carry a printed copy of their admission certificate to the examination venue, as entry will not be permitted without this mandatory document.
Updated Scribe Registration Process with Aadhaar Authentication
SSC has implemented significant changes to the scribe facility process for candidates requiring assistance during the examination. The Commission has discontinued all previous scribe registrations submitted before November 5, 2025, requiring fresh registration through an updated system.
The new scribe registration process now incorporates Aadhaar authentication as a mandatory component. Individuals willing to serve as scribes must complete the updated registration procedure on the Commission's official website, providing valid identification and authentication details.
Candidates opting for the 'own scribe' facility must submit their scribe's registration number to generate the specialized scribe entry pass. The Commission has clarified that the maximum permissible age limit for scribes will follow the updated policy guidelines, while other existing regulations remain unchanged.
Important Deadlines and Compliance Requirements
Candidates who have selected the own scribe facility must complete the crucial mapping of their scribe's One-Time Registration (OTR) by April 5, 2026, up to 11:00 PM for the CHSL Tier-II examination. The scribe entry pass will only be generated following successful completion of this mapping process.
In instances where candidates identify discrepancies in their admission certificate or scribe entry pass, they are strongly advised to refer to the official examination notices previously issued by the Commission. SSC has explicitly stated that those established guidelines will take precedence in resolving any such issues or conflicts.
All candidates are urged to regularly monitor the official SSC website for any updates, announcements, or changes to the examination process. Strict compliance with all instructions issued by the Commission is essential for smooth participation in the examination.
