Massive Participation and Performance Highlights

This year's JEE Main session one witnessed an enormous turnout, with more than 13 lakh candidates appearing across the country. Among them, 12 students achieved a perfect 100 percentile nationally. However, no student from Tamil Nadu reached this top percentile mark in the first session, highlighting the competitive nature of the exam.

Ajaiy P shared insights into the challenging paper, stating, "The paper on January 22, shift two was particularly lengthy, and mathematics was harder than usual. Additionally, physics and chemistry questions were mixed this year, which added to the complexity." Despite these hurdles, his exceptional performance has set a high benchmark for aspiring engineers in the state.

Other Top Performers and Future Plans

Another notable achiever is Darsh from Maharishi Vidyamandir Senior Secondary School in Chetpet, who scored an impressive 99.99 percentile. Reflecting on the exam, Darsh mentioned, "Mathematics was a bit lengthy, but it was manageable with proper preparation."

Looking ahead, Ajaiy P plans to appear for the JEE Main session two exam as well, with aspirations to secure admission into the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT). His dedication and strategic approach are expected to yield strong results in the upcoming session.
