The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the Class 12 results on Wednesday, revealing that the Ahmedabad region achieved a commendable pass percentage of 90.60%, which is 5.40% higher than the national average of 85.20%. Girls outperformed boys with an overall pass percentage of 92%, compared to 89.52% for boys. The CBSE Class 12 examinations were conducted from February 17 to April 10.
School-Wise Toppers in Science Stream
Most schools in the Ahmedabad region registered a 100% result, with several students scoring full marks in various subjects. Vurchasva Gokhale from Delhi Public School, Bopal, emerged as the topper in the science stream with an impressive 97.2% score. At Divine Child School, Adalaj, Ayush Dodwani topped with 97.6%. Falak Patel from St Kabir School secured the top position in science with 92.6%. Kopal Gahoi led at Zydus School For Excellence, Godhavi, with 94.4%. At Army Public School, Krant Chaudhary topped with 93.8%. Vinayak Parmar from Adani Vidya Mandir scored 96.40% to become the school topper. Smile Bhanja from PM Shri KV, Ahmedabad Cantt, topped with 93.4%. Sriyansh Das from DAV International School achieved 94.4%, while Jaitra Vyas from Prakash School scored 97.6%.
Commerce and Humanities Stream Toppers
Students in commerce and humanities streams also demonstrated exceptional performance, giving tough competition to their science counterparts. Shreiya Saproo from DPS Bopal scored a remarkable 98.6% in commerce. In humanities, Ishitva Singh emerged as the topper with 97.8%. Vatsak Pandya from Zydus School for Excellence, Godhavi, topped in commerce with 96.8%, while Abha Lakhangaonar led in humanities with 96.2%. At Army Public School, Udita Biswas scored 97% in humanities, and Pavani Ahluwalia achieved 94% in commerce. Shriya Dave from Udgam School For Children topped the commerce stream with 98.6%, and Priya Saini led in humanities with 98.4%. At Zebar School For Children, Vishan Jetpariya was the commerce topper with 97.8%, and Dhruvi Karia topped humanities with 93.8%. For DAV International School, Shiksha Jha topped commerce with 97.2%, while Samya Shah scored 90.6% in humanities. Shakshi Shah from Divine Child School, Adalaj, emerged as the commerce topper with 96%, and Ankita Kriplani led in humanities with 96.6%. Namya Shah from Adani Vidya Mandir topped commerce with 97.80%, and Purva Rathod led humanities with 93.40%. Deepika Singh and Shruti Shingrakhiya from PM Shri KV Ahmedabad Cantt topped commerce and humanities respectively, each scoring 97.8%.
