Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for re-evaluation through the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in. To apply for re-evaluation, students need to follow these steps:

  • Visit the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in.
  • Click on the 'Re-evaluation' link available on the homepage.
  • Enter your roll number and other required credentials to log in.
  • Select the subjects for which you want re-evaluation.
  • Pay the prescribed fee for each subject.
  • Submit the application and take a printout for future reference.

Important Details for Re-evaluation

The re-evaluation process involves a thorough re-checking of the answer sheets by a different examiner. Students can apply for re-evaluation in any number of subjects. The fee for re-evaluation is Rs. 500 per subject. The last date to apply is expected to be within 15 days from the start of the process. The results of re-evaluation will be announced on the official website.

What to Expect After Re-evaluation

If there is any change in marks after re-evaluation, the revised marks will be considered final. In case of no change, the original marks will remain. Students are advised to keep a copy of their application and fee receipt for future correspondence.
