Varanasi: The additional director general of police (ADGP) of Varanasi Zone, Piyush Mordia, inaugurated the newly constructed COPS Cafe at Police Lines in Ghazipur on Sunday. The ADG stated that police personnel work tirelessly around the clock for public safety, and enhanced facilities are crucial to sustain their efficiency and morale.
Facilities at the Cafe
The cafe will offer police personnel excellent arrangements for meals, snacks, and other refreshments. SP Iraj Raja noted that the new cafe is equipped with modern amenities, ensuring cleanliness, proper seating, and quality food. He reviewed the food quality and operations, issuing instructions for regular functioning.
Objective of the Initiative
This initiative aims to reduce work-related stress among police personnel by providing quality facilities at a single location. The event was attended by the Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural), Circle Officer Lines, Circle Officer Jamania, along with other police personnel and dignitaries.
