Q3 Results Preview for Key Companies

IndusInd Bank Q3 Results Preview

IndusInd Bank is anticipated to report a sharp decline in net profit for Q3 FY26. According to a report from PL Capital, the bank's net profit is expected to plummet by 99% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹13.3 crore, down from ₹1,401 crore in the same quarter last year. The Net Interest Income (NII) is projected to fall by 15.1% YoY to ₹4,441 crore from ₹5,228 crore.

Despite these challenges, margins are forecasted to rise by 8 basis points quarter-over-quarter (QoQ), reaching 3.60%. Provisions are likely to decline by 20.0% sequentially due to a higher base effect. However, there is an expected deterioration in Gross Non-Performing Assets (GNPA) by 2 basis points compared to the previous quarter. Credit costs are projected to drop by 58 basis points QoQ, indicating some relief in asset quality pressures.

JSW Steel Q3 Results Preview

JSW Steel's performance in Q3 FY26 is expected to be impacted by softer steel realizations and higher coking coal prices. According to Yes Securities, the company's EBITDA per ton is anticipated to decrease sequentially. While higher volumes may offer some support, the margin compression effect is likely to be significant for the quarter.

Yes Securities forecasts JSW Steel to report an EBITDA of ₹66.9 billion, translating into an EBITDA margin of 15.0%, compared to 15.8% in Q2 FY26. EBITDA is projected to grow 20% YoY but decline 5.9% sequentially, reflecting the subdued pricing environment. The sales volume assumption is expected to be 7.52 million tonnes, highlighting the operational scale amidst market headwinds.

Cipla Q3 Results Preview

Cipla is expected to deliver a poor performance in the quarter ended December 2025, according to Nuvama Institutional Equities. The decline in sales of gRevlimid is resulting in a less favorable product mix in the US market, which is likely to weigh on the company's results. The brokerage forecasts a 10% YoY growth for the Indian market, but this may not offset the challenges overseas.

Cipla's Yurpeak (Tirzepatide) has yet to appear in monthly figures, so it is unlikely to make a significant impact during Q3 FY26. The US segment is projected to see a downturn as gRevlimid loses its significance. Nuvama estimates Cipla's US business to be around $205 million during the quarter, with a 10% YoY decline in EBITDA and margins at 23.3%.
