Madhuri Dixit Sells Juhu Apartment for ₹3.9 Cr, Earns Double Her Investment
Madhuri Dixit sells Juhu flat for ₹3.9 crore

Bollywood legend Madhuri Dixit Nene and her husband, Dr. Shriram Madhav Nene, have successfully sold their upscale apartment in Mumbai's posh Juhu locality. The transaction, valued at a substantial ₹3.9 crore, marks a lucrative exit from a property they have owned for over a decade.

Prime Property Details and Sale Particulars

According to official documents from real estate analytics platform CRE Matrix, the sale was formally registered on December 15, 2025. The apartment is situated on the fourth floor of Iris Park within the Deep Varsha Co-operative Housing Society on Military Road, Juhu (400049). This neighborhood is renowned for housing numerous celebrities and offers limited availability of premium homes, adding to its exclusivity.

The sold unit boasts a carpet area of 780.13 square feet. The buyer is identified as Mrs. Darshana Ghatlia. Notably, the total consideration included a security deposit of ₹19.5 lakh, which was factored into the stamp duty calculation. Mrs. Ghatlia also benefited from the Maharashtra government's scheme for women homebuyers, availing a 1% concession on stamp duty.

A Profitable Real Estate Investment

The sale underscores a remarkable appreciation in the property's value. Madhuri and Dr. Nene had originally purchased this Juhu apartment back in June 2012 for ₹1.96 crore. After nearly 13 years of ownership, the sale price of ₹3.9 crore represents a near 100% profit, effectively doubling their initial investment. This impressive growth highlights Juhu's enduring status as one of Mumbai's most resilient and desirable real estate markets, where property values consistently see healthy appreciation.

Madhuri Dixit's Recent Property Moves

This apartment sale is not an isolated event in the actress's portfolio. It follows another significant real estate transaction completed just a year prior. In December 2024, Madhuri Dixit leased out a commercial office space in Andheri West's Morya Landmark II.

The details of that deal are as follows:

  • The office spans a built-up area of 1,594.24 sq ft.
  • It was leased to Karamtara Engineering Pvt. Ltd. for a two-year term.
  • The initial monthly rent was set at ₹3 lakh.
  • As per the registered leave and license agreement from November 13, the rent was scheduled to increase to ₹3.15 lakh per month after the first year.
  • The tenant provided a security deposit of ₹9 lakh.

These transactions collectively paint a picture of an astute investor actively managing a diverse real estate portfolio, capitalizing on Mumbai's dynamic property landscape.
