CREDAI Vizag Property Expo 2024 Kicks Off Grandly

The 11th edition of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India (CREDAI) Visakhapatnam property exhibition commenced on a grand scale this Friday. The three-day event is being held at the Gadiraju Palace in Vizag, marking a significant gathering for the region's booming real estate sector.

A Hub for Home Buyers and Investors

The expo floor is bustling with activity, featuring an impressive 71 stalls from various developers. These stalls display a comprehensive range of property options to suit diverse needs and budgets. Prospective buyers can explore everything from residential apartments and villas to open plots and commercial spaces. The offerings include both affordable housing projects and premium, luxury developments.

In a major convenience for visitors, leading banks and financial institutions have also set up exclusive stalls at the venue. They are providing on-the-spot home loan services with special discounts, competitive interest rates, and promises of instant approvals. This integration aims to make the property buying journey seamless under one roof.

Government Support and Sector Confidence

The expo was formally inaugurated by MSME Minister Kondapalli Srinivas. In his address, the Minister highlighted the state government's proactive role. He stated that several reforms introduced over the past year have fueled vertical growth in the construction sector and generated substantial employment opportunities. He emphasized that delivering quality projects is fundamental to building trust with homebuyers, which ultimately strengthens the entire builder community.

Echoing the sentiment of growth, E Ashok Kumar, President of CREDAI Visakhapatnam, noted that recent governmental initiatives have had a positive impact. Reforms like faster approvals and increased transparency are helping the Andhra Pradesh real estate market return to a robust normalcy. He assured that CREDAI will continue its collaborative efforts with the government.

Driving Growth and Recognizing Talent

Rahul Sankritya, Deputy General Manager of SBI Visakhapatnam, pointed out the macroeconomic importance of the event's focus. He reminded attendees that the real estate sector remains a major contributor to the nation's GDP.

V Dharmender, Chairman of CREDAI Visakhapatnam, positioned the expo as the ultimate one-stop destination. For anyone looking to invest in rapidly developing areas like Visakhapatnam, the event provides a unique platform. "Bringing developers, bankers, and all stakeholders together simplifies the process for buyers. It allows them to evaluate all options side-by-side and make well-informed decisions," he explained.

Beyond business, the event also celebrated academic excellence. In line with CREDAI's commitment to nurturing future professionals, the K Subba Raju Memorial Award was presented. The recipients were the top three Diploma Civil Engineering students from Government Polytechnic College, Visakhapatnam, and the top two meritorious students from the Draftsman Civil trade at the Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI).

The organizers have extended a confident invitation to all potential buyers and investors to participate in the expo, which promises to be a cornerstone event for the region's property landscape.
