CM Patel: Development & Environment Key for India's Growth

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel declared that balancing development with environmental protection is the cornerstone for transforming India into a developed nation. He urged for proactive measures to combat global warming during a significant event in Ahmedabad.

Inauguration of the Grand Property Show

The Chief Minister made these remarks on Thursday while inaugurating the 20th Grand Property Show-Olympiad. The event is organized by CREDAI Ahmedabad and GIHED at the GMDC ground. The property exhibition is scheduled to run from January 9 to January 11, showcasing real estate opportunities in the region.

Focus on Sustainable Practices

Emphasizing the critical need for eco-friendly initiatives, CM Patel highlighted specific steps to address environmental challenges. He pointed to the importance of rainwater harvesting, groundwater conservation, and adopting energy-saving measures as essential practices for sustainable urban growth.

During the event, Patel also launched and viewed a film titled "This is Ahmedabad's Decade," projecting a vision for the city's future. He noted that the commencement of the Somnath Pride Festival was a historic moment for both Gujarat and India, showcasing the nation's cultural faith and pride.

Real Estate Sector Poised for Growth

The event saw strong endorsements for Gujarat's real estate policies. CREDAI National president Shekhar Patel stated that the state government's reforms in revenue and urban development sectors would significantly boost industry growth.

CREDAI Ahmedabad president Aalap Patel expressed high optimism for the city's trajectory. He projected that Ahmedabad is set for rapid expansion in the coming years and boldly claimed that property investors could potentially see fourfold returns by the year 2030.

The inauguration was attended by several dignitaries, including Forest and Environment Minister Arjun Modhwadia, Ahmedabad Mayor Pratibha Jain, and Quality Council of India (QCI) Chairman Jaxay Shah.
