Brigade Buys 4.04 Acres in Hyderabad's Neopolis for ₹477 Crore
Brigade Acquires Prime Hyderabad Land for ₹477 Crore

In a major move to strengthen its footprint in South India, real estate developer Brigade Enterprises Limited has acquired a prime land parcel in Hyderabad's fast-growing Neopolis area. The company announced the acquisition through a stock exchange filing on December 4.

Details of the High-Value Land Deal

The company successfully secured Plot No. 20 in Kokapet, spanning 4.04 acres, through a competitive e-auction conducted by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA). The transaction value stands out in the market, with Brigade paying a substantial ₹118 crore per acre. This brings the total investment for the land parcel to approximately ₹477 crore.

This acquisition highlights Brigade's strong confidence in Hyderabad's real estate potential, particularly in the Neopolis micro-market. This zone is rapidly emerging as a future hub for commercial and residential projects, thanks to its planned infrastructure and excellent connectivity.

Strengthening a Strategic Foothold

This is not Brigade's first major investment in Neopolis. The company is already developing the ambitious Brigade Gateway on a nearby plot (Plot No. 8). This premium mixed-use project is modeled after the company's iconic developments in Bengaluru.

Brigade Gateway is designed to integrate multiple real estate classes. It will feature:

  • The Orion Mall
  • World Trade Center Hyderabad
  • A five-star deluxe InterContinental hotel
  • High-end residential towers with a comprehensive clubhouse

Executive Insight and Future Plans

"Hyderabad is a key market in our expansion strategy," said Amar Mysore, Executive Director of Brigade Enterprises Limited. He referenced the launch of Brigade Gateway around the same time last year and noted that this new acquisition reinforces the company's commitment to the city.

"With a robust pipeline of projects planned for Hyderabad, this acquisition underscores our commitment to investing in high-potential locations and delivering well-designed, future-ready developments for discerning customers," Mysore added.

Established in 1986, the Brigade Group brings nearly four decades of expertise and has developed properties across seven major Indian cities, including Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad. Its portfolio spans residential, office, retail, hospitality, and education sectors. The continued investment in prime locations like Neopolis aligns with its strategy for quality-driven and sustainable growth in Southern India.
