Jhansi: On his inaugural visit to Jhansi after being appointed the district's minister in charge, Uttar Pradesh Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh declared that entrepreneurs investing in the tourism and hospitality sectors will receive full government support. The state government offers a 25% subsidy on investments ranging from homestays to five-star hotels, with the subsidy increasing to 30% for women and Scheduled Caste entrepreneurs.

The minister highlighted improvements in road, rail, and air connectivity, with Rs 1,000 crore allocated to the Public Works Department to strengthen connectivity to religious destinations. He also announced the redevelopment of the State Museum in Jhansi with an investment of Rs 24 crore to enhance visitor appeal.
