The company stated that it has been expanding facilities at its core plant in Nagpur. However, capacity utilization has increased as it has emerged as a global player. Expanding to other states will bring it closer to consumers in those regions. Eyeing an order book of Rs 14,000 crore for the next year, Solar Group expects the defense business to account for Rs 9,500 crore of that. The defense business has grown from 20% to 33% of total revenue during the year.
