Visakhapatnam: The railways will introduce two weekly special trains to Tirupati and Sholapur in Maharashtra in a few weeks. A weekly special train from Anakapalle to Charlapalli (17046) was introduced.
New Train Services to Address Overcrowding
The Anakapalle to Tirupati special train will start from May 8. Hundreds of people from the Anakapalle district and its surrounding areas depend on the Tirumala Express and other trains. The trains passing through or originating from Visakhapatnam are very crowded, and getting tickets has become a herculean task. Keeping this in mind, the Anakapalle MP and Railway Standing Committee chairman CM Ramesh requested the railway authorities and the minister for a weekly train.
