The eastern Indian state of Odisha is gearing up to host a major international gathering for the mining and infrastructure sector. The fourth edition of the Odisha Mining and Infrastructure International Expo is scheduled to take place in Bhubaneswar from January 8 to 11, 2026. This significant event is designed to firmly position Odisha on the global map as a leading centre for mining innovation and sustainable industrial practices.
A Global Platform for Mining Innovation
Organised by Futurex Trade Fair and Events Pvt Ltd, the expo promises to be a large-scale convergence of industry leaders, technology providers, and policymakers. The event will feature participation from a diverse array of international players, with confirmed involvement from over 10 countries, including industrial powerhouses like Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Brazil, and Chile. Attendees can expect to see over 250 exhibitors displaying the latest advancements in mining technology, equipment, and services.

Beyond static displays, the expo will come alive with more than 150 live demonstrations, offering a hands-on view of cutting-edge machinery and processes. Tapan Kumar Chand, the chairman of the organising committee, emphasised that the event will actively work to empower young entrepreneurs and start-ups, providing them with a vital platform to connect with global partners and investors.
