BSPHCL's Open House: Bihar Power Officials Vow to Fix Industrial Grievances
Bihar Power Firm Holds Open House for Industrial Consumers

In a significant move to bridge the gap with its industrial clientele, the Bihar State Power Holding Company Limited (BSPHCL) organized a dedicated 'open house' meeting this Wednesday. The event, held at Vidyut Bhawan in Patna, was specifically convened to hear and address the pressing electricity-related concerns of high tension (HT) and low tension industrial service (LTIS) consumers and investors across the state.

Consumers Voice Key Concerns on Power Supply and Billing

During the interactive session, representatives from various industries, business establishments, and investors actively raised a spectrum of issues. The primary grievances centered around the reliability of electricity supply, accuracy and transparency in billing procedures, delays in acquiring new connections, and urgent requirements for infrastructure upgrades. Participants from far-flung areas, including Bhagalpur, traveled to the capital to ensure their voices were heard directly by the top brass of the power utility.

Top Brass Assures Prompt Action on All Fronts

The BSPHCL officials, led by the chairman-cum-managing director, listened attentively to every complaint, suggestion, and request. The chairman-cum-managing director provided a firm assurance that all issues highlighted during the meeting would be resolved within a stipulated time frame. Following the discussions, immediate directions were issued to the concerned departments to initiate corrective actions. The meeting saw high-level participation, including Rahul Kumar, Managing Director of North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited, and Mahendra Kumar, Managing Director of South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited, alongside other senior officials.

A Welcome Step Towards Better Industry Relations

The initiative was widely appreciated by the industrial consumers and investors present. They emphasized that such direct interactions are extremely beneficial, fostering better communication and understanding between the power service provider and its key consumers. This open dialogue is seen as a crucial step towards improving the ease of doing business in Bihar by ensuring a more reliable and responsive power infrastructure for the industrial sector.
