In a significant boost to India's power sector, the Trichy complex of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has achieved a major milestone by securing its highest-ever number of orders for conventional coal-based thermal power projects. Executive Director of the BHEL Trichy complex, S Prabhakar, revealed this record-breaking feat during the BHEL Day celebrations held at the complex on Thursday. Prabhakar emphasized that the orders have been received from both public and private utility companies, showcasing widespread trust in BHEL's capabilities across the industry spectrum. This surge in order inflow is a strong indicator of renewed activity and investment in the country's conventional power infrastructure.
