Adani Compares Ganga Expressway to Sacred River, Says It Unites 80 Million People
Adani: Ganga Expressway Unites 80 Million Like Sacred River

Lucknow: Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani stated on Friday that the Ganga Expressway, recently inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is more than a road project. Connecting 12 districts and over 500 villages, it serves as a powerful medium that unites people, much like the sacred flow of the Ganga river, bringing transformative change to the lives of more than 80 million people.

Adani noted that travel time between Meerut and Prayagraj will be reduced from 10–11 hours to approximately 5–6 hours. The expressway is being built with such strength that, if required, fighter jets can land on it, symbolizing the strength and confidence of a New India. The Adani Group has constructed 80% of the 594-kilometer expressway.

He further emphasized that just as the Ganga river has nurtured India’s faith and culture for centuries, the Ganga Expressway will act as a strong bridge connecting faith with development, accelerating progress not only in Uttar Pradesh but across the country.
