BMW Motorrad is reportedly preparing to introduce the F 450 GS as its new entry-level adventure motorcycle, potentially replacing the G 310 GS. First revealed at EICMA 2025, this bike is a product of collaboration with TVS and is already being manufactured at the Hosur plant.
Powering this new BMW is expected to be a 420 cc parallel-twin engine that churns out 48 bhp and 43 Nm of torque. It will likely be paired with a 6-speed gearbox, with an optional BMW Easy Ride Clutch for clutchless shifting. Key features may include a tubular steel frame, KYB suspension, cross-spoke wheels (19-inch front, 17-inch rear), and a full electronics suite with a 6.5-inch TFT display, multiple riding modes, cornering ABS, and dynamic traction control. Following the success of the X440, the Hero-Harley-Davidson partnership is likely gearing up to launch a sportier variant called the X440T. While it may retain the core 440cc mechanics, this model could feature a redesigned, sleeker rear section, bar-end mirrors, and new colour options.
A significant upgrade could be the shift to a ride-by-wire throttle system, enabling advanced features like selectable riding modes, traction control, and switchable rear ABS. This would position the X440T as a more technologically advanced cruiser in its segment.

The sport bike segment is also in for a refresh, primarily from KTM. With the 390 Duke receiving an update earlier this year, its fully-faired sibling, the KTM RC 390, is expected to follow suit. The motorcycle will be built around a revised trellis frame with a bolt-on aluminium subframe and an updated swingarm. KTM is also reportedly preparing the faired version of its popular 160 Duke, the RC 160. This entry-level supersport is expected to share the same 164.2 cc liquid-cooled engine that generates 18.74 bhp and 15.5 Nm, coupled with a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-assist clutch.
