Infosys Q3 Results Show Attrition Decline and Growth in Headcount

Infosys has released its financial results for the third quarter ending December 31, 2025. The company reported a significant drop in voluntary attrition to 12.3%. This marks a decrease from 13.7% in the same quarter last year. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, attrition fell by 2% compared to the previous quarter.

Employee Numbers Rise with Positive Market Outlook

The headcount at Infosys increased by 5,043 employees during this period. CEO Salil Parekh expressed confidence in market demand. He highlighted the company's strong performance and future hiring plans.

Parekh stated, "We are going to hire on campus. This year, we have done 18,000 to 20,000 hires. We will continue in that range for next year due to new areas of demand." This indicates a steady approach to recruitment in the coming year.

Wage Hike Decision Still Pending

Regarding wage increases, no final decision has been made yet. CFO Jayesh Sanghrajka provided an update on the recent wage cycle. He mentioned that the cycle concluded in January with two parts.

Sanghrajka said, "We just finished one cycle of our wage. We haven't yet decided on the next five years. We will decide as we progress." This suggests that wage hike plans remain under review for future periods.

The results reflect Infosys's ongoing efforts to manage attrition and expand its workforce. The company continues to adapt to market conditions while planning for growth.
