Paranjpe also serves as the non-executive vice chairman of Heineken NV. Infosys highlighted his extensive leadership experience, noting his current roles at Hindustan Unilever Ltd and Heineken NV as key assets.

Infosys Chairman Nandan Nilekani expressed delight over the appointment, stating, 'We are delighted to have Nitin in this position. Nilekani further clarified, 'I will continue as the Chairman of the Board as long as necessary, and there is no plan for a chairman transition.'
