Details of the Arrest

Speaking to the media on Friday, Commissioner Borase identified the accused as Rahul Kamble and Babasaheb Katageri. Rahul Kamble had been employed as the caretaker for the doctor couple's home. Over time, he gained their trust and frequently visited the house, which allowed him to gather information about the gold ornaments stored in a locker inside the residence.

Between December and February, over a span of three months, Rahul Kamble gradually stole gold ornaments without raising any suspicion. The investigation revealed that a total of 930 grams of gold ornaments, worth Rs 1.2 crore, were stolen during this period.
