Qatar Airways Resumes Nagpur-Doha Flights After Conflict Hiatus
Qatar Airways Resumes Nagpur-Doha Flights

Qatar Airways has resumed its Nagpur-Doha flights, which were suspended due to the Middle East conflict. The first aircraft landed at Nagpur airport on Thursday morning, carrying 45 passengers, including one overseas citizen of India (OCI). The aircraft later departed with 60 passengers, again including one OCI.

Significance of OCI Status

OCIs are foreign nationals of Indian origin who hold a lifetime visa for India, allowing them to work and study in the country without additional permits.

Passenger Numbers and Future Expectations

Although the passenger count was significantly below the aircraft capacity, industry sources anticipate an increase in fliers on subsequent flights. Qatar Airways will operate the route five times a week, providing a convenient connection to European destinations.
