Speaking at the TOI conclave 'Defining Years of Transforming UP' on Thursday, he emphasized the need for every citizen to contribute to the country's self-reliance mission.

Impact on Supplies

The Chief Minister warned that the global crisis could disrupt fuel, food, and fertilizer supplies. In light of this, he urged citizens to adopt alternatives such as public transport and renewable energy to strengthen national resilience.

Adopting Sustainable Practices

Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's appeal, CM Yogi reiterated the importance of embracing renewable energy, carpooling, metro services, electric vehicles, and shuttle bus systems to conserve fuel. He also highlighted innovative community kitchen models based on biogas plants in rural areas, utilizing over 7,700 cow shelters that protect more than 1.5 million cattle, thereby reducing dependence on LPG.
