Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar flagged off a special train from Sirsa to Hazur Sahib Nanded in Maharashtra, aimed at providing better connectivity for pilgrims. The train, which will operate on a weekly basis, is expected to benefit thousands of devotees visiting the sacred shrine of Hazur Sahib Nanded, one of the most important pilgrimage sites for the Sikh community.
Details of the Special Train Service
The special train, numbered 04523, will depart from Sirsa every Saturday at 8:30 PM and reach Hazur Sahib Nanded on Monday at 5:00 AM. The return journey, numbered 04524, will start from Hazur Sahib Nanded every Monday at 11:00 PM and arrive in Sirsa on Wednesday at 7:30 AM. The train will make stops at several stations including Bathinda, Ludhiana, Ambala, and Delhi, ensuring wider accessibility.

During the flagging-off ceremony, CM Khattar emphasized the government's commitment to improving rail infrastructure and connectivity for religious tourism. He stated that this initiative aligns with the state's efforts to promote pilgrimage and boost local economy.
