During a detailed review meeting chaired by Additional Municipal Commissioner Prashant Rode, officials were directed to ensure the effective implementation of several preventive actions. Furthermore, the civic body is setting up public drinking water fountains and points, with a special emphasis on heat-prone areas such as Mumbra and the Wagle Estate ward. According to an official statement, auto and taxi unions, labor and industrial associations, and various non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are being actively engaged to enhance preparedness and response capabilities.
