According to an FON member, the operation was initiated after they received an urgent call reporting a huge snake hiding among scrap metal wares at the shop.
"We had got a call that a huge snake was seen hiding among the scrap metal wares at the shop. The snake rescuers Nitin Gharat and Bhushan Mhatre led this operation," said the FON member, emphasizing the prompt response of the team.
Urban Encounter from Nearby Mangroves
Wildlife activists involved in the rescue provided insights into the python's likely origins. They informed that the reptile must have ventured towards the urban region from a nearby mangroves forest, possibly in search of prey.
