"Twenty people were arrested and detained" after investigators discovered they were "sending details of military, law enforcement and security locations to the Zionist enemy." Separately, the Tasnim news agency reported at least 18 additional arrests related to cooperation with London-based television channel Iran International. Quoting the intelligence ministry, Tasnim stated these individuals were detained for "sending images of locations bombed by Israel and the US" along with other sensitive sites to the broadcaster.
This development follows Iran's January decision to ban all cooperation with Iran International, which authorities have labeled as "affiliated with the Zionist regime." The crackdown appears to be part of broader security measures amid ongoing regional tensions.
