Major Fire Incident in Maibang Destroys 13 Houses, Leaves Families Homeless
A devastating fire broke out at Subhash Nagar in Maibang, located within the Dima Hasao district of Assam, on Tuesday, resulting in significant property damage and displacement of residents. In response to the crisis, the chairman and vice chairman of the Maibang Municipal Board visited the affected locality to interact with the displaced families and assess their immediate needs. Additionally, HELP Society, in collaboration with the 26 Assam Rifles, stepped in to distribute relief materials, offering crucial support to those impacted by the fire.
