Iran-backed Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for launching 20 attacks against Israeli military targets in southern Lebanon. According to an Iranian media report, Hezbollah stated that it used rockets, artillery shells, and explosive drones to strike Israeli troop positions, military vehicles, and a Merkava tank across multiple border areas.
Coordinated Drone Assaults and Downed Surveillance Drone
Hezbollah also claimed responsibility for coordinated drone assaults in the Taybe region. In addition, the group said it shot down an Israeli surveillance drone over the Tyre region using a surface-to-air missile. These actions mark a significant escalation in cross-border hostilities.

The attacks come amid heightened tensions in the Middle East, with Iran and its proxies increasingly confronting Israeli and US forces.
