Gas Cylinder Explosions Cause Fire in Mantralaya

A fire broke out on Wednesday after gas cylinders exploded inside temporary tin sheds constructed for workers near the Narahari Teertha guest accommodation in Mantralaya, bordering Raichur, in Andhra Pradesh. No injuries or casualties were reported, and officials said a major tragedy was averted.

Incident Details

Mutt head Subudhendrateertha Swami visited the accident site following the incident. According to the seer, temporary tin sheds were erected to accommodate construction workers from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. At least three small gas cylinders reportedly exploded due to extreme heat conditions.

Response and Safety Measures

Soon after the incident, police personnel, fire and emergency services staff, and electricity department officials rushed to the spot and initiated safety measures. Officials said bigger cylinders were prevented from exploding in time, helping avert a larger disaster. No injuries were reported in the incident.
