Redmi Note 15 SE 5G India Launch Scheduled for April 2

Redmi has officially announced that the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G will launch in India on April 2, marking its debut just months after the standard Redmi Note 15 5G was unveiled in the country. The company made the announcement on X, and a dedicated microsite for the phone has already gone live on Flipkart, confirming where customers will be able to purchase it.

Special Edition Design and Features

The "SE" in the name stands for Special Edition. Based on teasers, the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G appears to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 15 5G's China-exclusive New Year Cherry Red Edition. The phone will arrive in a striking red shade with a gold-coloured frame, giving it a more premium look compared to the standard models. As per photos shared on social media, the Redmi branding sits at the centre of the back panel, and the rear camera module retains the squircle shape seen on the regular Redmi Note 15 5G, housing two cameras and an LED flash, with a decorative element finished in the same gold colour as the frame.

"Presenting the all-new REDMI Note 15 Special Edition with a luxurious vegan leather finish and an exquisite Crimson Reserve colour," the company states on the Flipkart microsite.
