Motorola India Unveils Comprehensive After-Sales Support Initiative

Motorola has officially announced the rollout of its Next-Generation After-Sales Support Ecosystem in India, a nationwide program designed to enhance customer experience through accessible, reliable, and proactive service solutions. This initiative reinforces the company's customer-first philosophy with a multi-faceted approach combining physical service expansions and advanced digital tools.

Nationwide Monthly Service Camps Launching in 2026

At the core of this new ecosystem is the introduction of Nationwide Monthly Service Camps, scheduled to commence on February 28, 2026. These camps will be held at Motorola's authorised service centres and designated collection points across the country. Customers participating in these camps will receive a suite of benefits including:

  • Zero labour charges for all repairs and services
  • Free software updates to ensure optimal device performance
  • Complimentary device cleaning and sanitisation services
  • Basic health check-ups for smartphones to identify potential issues
  • Discounts of 10% on all accessories and spare parts

Premium Doorstep Service and AI Integration

Motorola is also introducing a complimentary pick-up and drop service exclusively for its premium device series, including the Signature, Edge, and Razr models. This service allows customers to submit service requests online and have their devices collected, repaired, and returned without any physical inconvenience.

The ecosystem integrates several AI-powered digital support tools designed to provide round-the-clock assistance:

  • Device Help app for troubleshooting and guidance
  • Software Fix tool for automated problem resolution
  • Intelligent Voice Assistance (IVA) for voice-based support
  • Motorola chatbot Moli offering 24×7 multilingual support across WhatsApp, web platforms, and devices

Expanding Physical Network and Strategic Vision

The company has outlined ambitious expansion plans, aiming to increase its service touchpoints to over 1,200 locations by fiscal year 2027. This represents a doubling of Motorola's current service network footprint across India.

"With the launch of our Nationwide Monthly Service Camp and Free Doorstep Care Service, we are creating a comprehensive, proactive, and accessible after-sales support ecosystem," stated T. M. Narasimhan, Managing Director of Motorola India. "By combining AI-powered service tools, a rapidly expanding physical network, and meaningful customer engagement initiatives, we aim to deliver a seamless ownership experience while strengthening long-term customer trust."

Market Context and Growth Trajectory

This strategic move comes during a period of significant momentum for Motorola in the Indian market. According to data from IDC, the brand recorded impressive 52.4% year-on-year growth and achieved an 8.3% market share during the third quarter of fiscal year 2025. The enhanced after-sales ecosystem represents Motorola's commitment to sustaining this growth trajectory through superior customer service and support infrastructure.
