Epson India has introduced a new lineup of 15 EcoTank inkjet printers, with prices ranging from Rs 13,999 to Rs 24,999. The series spans from the entry-level L1350 to the high-end L5390, catering to home users, students, corporations, and small businesses.
Key Features and Improvements
The new models focus on reducing running costs and simplifying maintenance. Print speeds reach up to 11 ipm in black and 6 ipm in colour. Black ink yield is up to 4,700 pages, while colour ink yield goes up to 7,500 pages, extending intervals between refills. Epson has also added a user-replaceable Maintenance Box rated for 35,000 sheets, eliminating the need for service visits for basic upkeep. The warranty now covers one year or 50,000 pages, whichever comes first.
Model-Specific Highlights
The L3360 and L5390 models come with a 1.44-inch colour LCD. The L5390 additionally features an Automatic Document Feeder and Ethernet connectivity, making it ideal for small offices that frequently scan and share documents. The rest of the lineup maintains a compact design to save desk space.
Market Performance
EcoTank printers have been a strong seller for Epson. The company reports over 8 million inkjet printers sold in India since launch, with more than one million EcoTank units sold in FY25 alone.
Siva Kumar, Senior General Manager of Sales and Marketing at Epson India, stated that the new range brings “further improvements in performance, reliability, and ease of use.” He called the one-million milestone “a testament to the trust customers place in Epson.”
