Actor, filmmaker, and choreographer Prabhu Deva has taken delivery of the MG M9 electric luxury MPV. This model is the flagship offering under the brand's premium MG SELECT retail channel.
Luxurious Interior and Seating
One of the biggest highlights of the MG M9 is its second-row 'Presidential Seats'. These powered Ottoman-style seats offer 16-way adjustment along with ventilation, heating, and eight massage modes. The luxury MPV also comes equipped with a dual-pane sunroof, Cognac Brown leather upholstery, ambient lighting, and intelligent armrest controls. MG also offers electric sliding rear doors and flexible storage solutions as part of the package.
Infotainment and Audio
Inside, the M9 features a dual-screen setup comprising a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity are included, while entertainment duties are handled by a 13-speaker JBL audio system with a subwoofer. Other features include three-zone climate control, a 64-colour ambient lighting system, and a camera-based digital inside rear-view mirror.
Performance and Range
The MG M9 is powered by a 90 kWh battery pack paired with a front-mounted electric motor producing 245 PS and 350 Nm of torque. The luxury EV MPV offers a claimed MIDC-certified driving range of 548 km on a single charge. Charging options include an 11 kW AC charger and support for 160 kW DC fast charging.
Safety and ADAS
Safety features include seven airbags, Level 2 ADAS, and 5-star safety ratings under both Euro NCAP and ANCAP crash-test standards. The ADAS suite includes functions such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, and blind-spot monitoring.
Colours and Availability
The MG M9 is offered in Pearl Lustre White, Metal Black, and Concrete Grey colour options. The electric MPV is retailed through the brand's MG SELECT experience centres across major cities in India.
