2026 Citroen eC3X Launched at Rs 11.99 Lakh

Citroen India has officially introduced the new 2026 Citroen eC3X electric hatchback in the Indian market, with an ex-showroom starting price of Rs 11.99 lakh. This marks a significant reduction of Rs 1.74 lakh compared to its predecessor. The company is also offering an optional Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) plan, which brings down the vehicle's purchase price to Rs 6.29 lakh, while battery usage is charged at Rs 2.26 per km. Customers can book the EV online or through their nearest dealership, with deliveries expected to commence shortly.

Battery and Performance

The 2026 eC3X continues to feature a 29.2kWh battery pack, now delivering a claimed MIDC-certified driving range of 325km, which is an improvement of 79km over the previous version. Power is sent to the front wheels via an electric motor producing 57hp and 143Nm of torque. The EV accelerates from 0 to 60kph in 6.8 seconds and achieves a top speed of 107kph. Charging options include both AC and DC: a full charge from 10% to 100% takes 10 hours and 30 minutes with an AC charger, while a DC fast charger can boost the battery from 10% to 80% in just 57 minutes.
