The incident involved a United Airlines Boeing 767 arriving at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey from Venice, Italy, with 231 passengers and crew members onboard, as reported by the BBC. According to reports, the aircraft came into contact with a truck moving on a road near the runway during landing. A nearby streetlight was also reportedly struck.
