Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has inaugurated a new Google Cloud Gemini Experience Centre (GEC) in São Paulo, Brazil. This marks a significant expansion of its global innovation network, specifically targeting the Latin American market.
A Strategic Hub for AI Innovation in Latin America
This new centre is the sixth Gemini Experience Center launched by TCS worldwide. It follows the successful establishment of five other GECs in key global locations: Bengaluru, New York, Chennai, Riyadh, and Singapore. The São Paulo facility is strategically housed within the TCS innovation hub located at Insper University, positioning it at the crossroads of academia and industry.
The primary mission of this centre is to serve as a dedicated space where enterprises across Latin America can rapidly prototype, test, and scale advanced business solutions. It focuses on leveraging Generative AI, Predictive AI, and Agentic AI technologies. The GEC aims to fuse TCS's extensive domain knowledge and industry-specific expertise with the cutting-edge technological suite offered by Google Cloud.
Expanded Partnership and Client Offerings
Concurrent with the centre's launch, TCS has also expanded its strategic partnership with Google Cloud to integrate Gemini Enterprise for its customers. This initiative is designed to boost operational efficiency and foster a culture of innovation among client organizations.
The newly launched GEC will provide Latin American organizations with access to dedicated sandbox environments powered by Gemini 3. Here, customers can design, test, and scale their AI-driven solutions on Google Cloud's robust, AI-optimized infrastructure. This process will be guided and supported by TCS-certified professionals to ensure secure, responsible, and effective deployment of AI solutions.
Beyond AI prototyping, the centre will offer comprehensive services including data modernisation and full-scale migration to the Google Cloud platform. TCS states that these services will enable clients to seamlessly integrate AI tools into their existing workflows, thereby building scalable cloud systems and significantly reducing project deployment timelines.
Driving Industry-Specific Transformation
The centre is poised to cater to a wide array of sectors in the region. Key industries such as banking and financial services, retail, manufacturing, transportation, and healthcare will be able to utilize the facility to assess and implement AI in their core business operations.
The focal areas for transformation include:
- Enhancing product development cycles.
- Optimizing supply chain and logistics processes.
- Revolutionizing customer engagement strategies.
Javier Carrique, Director of Partner Ecosystem & Channels for Google Cloud in Latin America, commented on the collaboration: "The opening of this space in Sao Paulo offers our customers the chance to know more about our partnership with TCS, leveraging our technology, their specialized industry knowledge and how together we can positively impact their businesses. The collaboration with TCS creates new opportunities for organizations across the region to harness the power of Google Gemini and generative AI in a responsible and scalable way."
This São Paulo GEC is an integral part of TCS's global network of Google Experience Centers, which itself falls under the broader TCS Pace and innovation network. This network is designed to connect startups, academic institutions, and enterprise customers to collaboratively work on emerging technologies, fostering an ecosystem of co-innovation.
