Primebook Launches PrimeAGNT AI Agent in PrimeOS for Automation

Primebook Unveils PrimeAGNT: An AI Agent Integrated into PrimeOS for Seamless Workflow Automation

Primebook has officially launched PrimeAGNT, a groundbreaking AI capability that is directly embedded into its proprietary operating system, PrimeOS. This innovative feature allows users to simply instruct their laptop to perform complex, multi-step workflows, which are then executed automatically by the system. The announcement marks a significant advancement in computing, shifting from traditional interaction-driven methods to a more outcome-focused approach.

Availability Across Primebook 2 Lineup and Executive Insights

As confirmed by the company, PrimeAGNT will be available across the entire Primebook 2 lineup, which includes models such as Primebook 2 Neo, Primebook 2 Pro, and Primebook 2 Max. Chitranshu Mahant, CEO of Primebook, emphasized the transformative nature of this launch. He stated, "Computing has largely been interaction-driven for decades, requiring users to click, type, and coordinate tasks manually. With PrimeAGNT, you simply state the desired outcome, and the system takes over to execute it seamlessly."

Deep Integration and Functionality of PrimeAGNT

PrimeAGNT is not a standalone application but is deeply integrated into PrimeOS at the framework and kernel levels. This architecture enables the AI to function across the entire system, rather than as an add-on feature. It allows for task coordination, workflow automation, and interaction with multiple digital environments through a single instruction. For instance, users can leverage PrimeAGNT to:

  • Apply to jobs automatically by finding relevant roles, customizing applications, submitting them, and tracking responses.
  • Transform messy WhatsApp or class group chats into structured study plans by scanning conversations, extracting tasks, and organizing notes.
  • Generate weekly reports by pulling updates from various apps and turning them into ready-to-send summaries.
  • Convert feature requests into working app features by integrating APIs and setting up projects end-to-end.

Additionally, PrimeAGNT can operate in a separate workspace, executing tasks in the background while users focus on other activities. Over time, the AI learns from user behavior to enhance execution accuracy and efficiency.

The Operator Era of Computing and Future Plans

This launch signals a broader shift toward what Primebook terms the "Operator Era of Computing," where users define outcomes and systems handle execution. Aman Verma, COO of Primebook, highlighted the significance, saying, "What we've built is not just another AI feature, but an execution layer within the OS, making PrimeOS among the first Agentic AI operating systems globally. It changes how the system understands intent and performs tasks, moving from mere assistance to full execution."

PrimeAGNT will be introduced in beta starting around mid-April, allowing Primebook to refine the capability through real-world usage and user feedback. During this phase, the company will study user integration into workflows and improve instruction interpretation and task execution accuracy.
