Mumbai: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday launched the Mahachatur AI Chatbot, a groundbreaking initiative designed to provide skill training, employment, entrepreneurship, and guidance to the youth of Maharashtra on a single platform. The launch ceremony was held at the Sahyadri state guest house.

Transformative Initiative for Maharashtra

The Chief Minister described the chatbot as a transformative initiative for the state. Developed under the Department of Skill, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, this chatbot is the first of its kind by any state government in the country. Fadnavis asserted that the chatbot will simplify the journey from education to employment for young people and ensure that industries receive skilled manpower promptly.

Key Features and Benefits

The chatbot is particularly useful for providing proper guidance to employment-oriented youth. Since it is easily accessible through WhatsApp, it is expected to benefit a large number of users. The Chief Minister emphasized that the skill sector will be strengthened through initiatives such as Centers of Excellence, modernization of Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs), and increasing the participation of women in skill programs.
